My story

Why this work matters to me

[Your story in your own words: what drew you to psychology, and the moment you knew trauma and children's mental health would be your life's work.]

Much of Philip's work is with conflict-affected and displaced communities in North Central Nigeria, where pain is often carried quietly and help is hard to reach. He moves between the clinic, the church and the community, translating psychology into language people can use at home, in the pulpit and in the classroom.

[A closing line on what you hope people carry away from your work.]
